Take a Closer Look at our Men’s Spring Collection
When designing, we place the highest standards on ourselves, so that every article of clothing we approve worthy of the collection — has a special, thoughtful detail that will make it more than just another shirt in your closet. Something you unconsciously gravitate to and will bring a smile every time you wear it. That could be the feel of the stitching, a tiny trim that others would never think to add or the softness and ease of the wash. These tiny details add up in significant ways — with the common goal: it should be effortlessly cool. Cool with trying too hard. Elevating above trend and be a lasting go-to in your closet for years to come.
For Spring, we’ve just launched some new items that are best when you take a closer look at the details. Here are a few from the new Men’s designs that come to mind:
NEW Spinnaker Shirt
With it’s linen-cotton blend, this shirt is a perfect addition as a weekly work shirt or a date night — but the part is its not too buttoned-up or stuffy and feels subtly as casual as you want. Take a closer look at the stitching (the detail shot at the top of this blog post) and you’ll see the fine honeycomb jacquard woven into this beauty.
NEW Men’s Framework Polo
There is something about how these new polos feel to the touch — we attribute its satisfying feel to the waffle knit. By adding that textural detail, it also gives the polo a flattering structure, while the stonewashing to the fabric gives it a welcome softness. We’ve found the right balance between the two qualities — a polo that looks sharp on but feels great upon your first wear. Not stopping there, we also added the reverse trim along the shoulder, giving this polo a sporty look (or even a hint of military styling).
NEW Men’s R&R Shorts
As sunny days start to show up a little frequently again, we love to stay casual by wearing shorts whenever we can. Take a closer look at our new R&R shorts, and you’ll see they’re finely textured with a super-soft cotton dobby (and a touch of stretch). Chambray trim on the inside make them feel all the more special — these shorts are versatile too — perfectly ready to dress up with a polo or button-down or wonderfully adult and casual with a tee.
NEW Men’s Abbreviated Shirt
As a design process, we are always asking how to keep building on great design ideas. Introduced last Spring, our long sleeve Meta Shirt has been a favorite. And so we thought, what if we took that idea and kept its popular softness and intriguing colorful pattern, but made it short-sleeve — meet the new Abbreviated Shirt. Inspired by playful elements we think this new shirt’s light blue tone along the color pattern make it perfect for warmer days.
NEW Men’s Pointillism Pants
Sometimes you just want to break away from the routine of denim or khaki with guy’s pants. We designed a cool idea — what if we created a flattering pant design with dobby threads that created a subtle, dotted pattern? It’s playful, lighthearted-yet-refined with our signature thoughtful details. We think these pants are worth a try and a welcome change to the routine — and undoubtedly cool.
NEW Men’s Triple Texture Polo
How do you design the perfect polo? We took on the challenge by taking three key favorites we love — starting with super-soft slub jersey for its body that feels great on, but also looks cool with its striations in the fabric. Iconic polo style often features a rib-knit collar and cuffs to frame a polo’s flattering shape, but we took a step cooler by adding a cool marled complimentary color effect. And finally we added cool woven chambray trim stepping us the style of this casual short-sleeve. Available in three unique colors we think this polo is a welcome addition or step to your Spring and Summer game.
